Legal Question in Disability Law in New Mexico
Is this normal for an employer?
A few months ago my employer learned of my severe emphyzema and later started diciplinary actions for aloted time on different jobs. I was given a ADA evaluation form to take to their doctors group. The doctor stated I could no longer perform my job discription. I am told I am not going to recieve wages for this suspension time. Meanwhile, I'm about to loose my home. HR department has stopped taking or returning my calls and the last communication I had with them I was told they are discussing my case with their atty's and risk manager.

Your employer has "lawyered up." You should do the same by first sitting down with an experienced employment law attorney. You may have rights under the Americans with Disabilitirs Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act or some state laws. Your employer will not tell you about these rights, you need to find someone to help you understand what is occurring and help protect your rights.
