Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in New Mexico
I am hearing impaired I speak a bit louder than normal I was threatened by medical staff a a clinic today because they said my voice scares rape victims and if I didn't leave or find a way to speak softer they would call police. Can they do this to people now I don't want to speak at all to anyone for fear of scaring someone.

Get examined for hearing assistance. There are a variety of aids available to improve your hearing which will allow you to speak in softer tones. Do yourself and those around you a favor and investigate the options.
