Psychological testing

My former employer required me to take 3 psychological profiling tests. they were very invasive. They asked questions about my sexuality as well as religion.They used them as return to work criteria I was subquently turned down a promotion I deserved and terminated when I asked if the testing had anything to do with it.Is there anything I can do?

Absolutely. Attempts to root out things like marriage and religion in the form of "psychological tests" is a "nice try, but you're busted" kind of illegal practice.

Take as much information as you can, including a copy of your employment file, to the EEOC/civil rights and file a complaint pronto.

Follow their process through to litigation, if necessary.
