Legal Question in Consumer Law in New Mexico
I bought a car for 4950 about three months ago from a private owner who told me she never had any problems with it, but i have already had to put 1000 dollars into it and now the motor mount broke. I'm wondering if I can sue her or do anything to get the money back that I wasted on the broken car.

Probably not, unless you can prove she knew about the defects prior to the sale and failed to advise you of them. That could be fraud which would support a lawsuit to recover your money and return the car. Such cases are most often caveat emptor - let the buyer beware.
