Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in New Mexico

I own a flower shop and some customers have not paid for over 2 years. How do I get my money? Police Dept. said they can not do anything.

You file a claim in small claims court - no lawyers required. That is the Magistrate Court except for Bernalillo County which is the Metropolitan Court. The court will provide the forms; they will not give legal advice. You will have a hearing scheduled fairly promptly, depending upon the county in which you file, and a judge will decide the merits of your claim.
