Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Mexico
My 18 year old daughter recieved a under age drinking citation while on vacation in New Mexico.
We live in Az. she has a court date in N.M. She pleaded not guilty. Is it possible to change the plea to guilty and pay a fine. We do not have time or resources to be traveling back and forth.

With the court's permission, and the filing of the proper forms, it is possible to change her plea to guilty, pay a fine, and do it all by mail. Unless you know how it's done, however, you will require a lawyer to prepare and file the papers for you.
