Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Mexico

If a US citizen breaks the law in Mexico and returns to the US, will the authorities arrest him in the US or wait until he returns to Mexico?

It depends upon the crime committed in Mexico and whether or not Mexico wants to extradite. Murder or a similar high crime would probably be extradited; shoplifting or a low crime probably would not.
