Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Mexico
Being charged with a crime
in a juvenile case if the district attourney is presented with a case and she drops the case.Can She come back at a later time and charge that person with that crime later on?

The prosecution may withdraw or dismiss a prosecution once as a matter of course, and may pursue it again so long as it is reactivated within the period of the statute of limitations.
