Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Mexico
I have been charged with 3 criminal counts and 2 are identical, why is that?

You can be charged with a specific crime more than once if you meet the elements. For example, if D kidnaps both A and B then D will be charged with 2 counts of kidnapping.
