Re: conviction
A Conditional Discharge is a one-time way out of a felony charge which allows the defendant to serve a term of supervised probation at the end of which, if successfully served, results in a dismissal of the charges with no felony conviction. Once used, it is never available again. It is commonly used in drug offenses, although it may be used in other circumstances as well.
