Deprivation of character

Can I be sued for Deprivation of character if I inform others of a person that has HIV?

If you did not obtain protected health information in violation of HIPAA, or otherwise invade the privacy of the individual through a position of authority or privilege, and the information you provided is the truth, then you have no legal liability for providing truthful information to others. It is, of course, a horrible idea and shows a sad lack of character.
