Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Mexico
dismissals
my dad was charged with having a meth lab. may 2004, the case was dismissed nov 2006, for violated right to a speedy trial. a 30 month delay. court records show that the case was set for trial six differnt times. and now they are trying to. turn over the judges ruleing. and charge him with the same charges, can they do that.

It depends. Your dad must have had a lawyer at trial. Bring your questions to that lawyer.
