No state extradites for ordinary traffic offenses other than DWI; it is an individual call by the prosecutor as to whether or not the felony offenses of ISF or no-account checks and/or larceny will be extradited. Why risk the possibility of being arrested on a NY warrant when picked up on a minor traffic offense. Check into the NY situation through a friend or family member, determine what charges there are and what must be done to deal with them, then do it. It will always go easier if you deal with the charges before you are arrested on them.
