felon in possesion of firearm
i have a warrant in N.M that is 12 years old i just found out when i had a back ground check for a job what is the max sentence

The answer depends upon the type of underlying felony, and your entire criminal history. At the state level you could be looking at up to 36 months; at the federal level, up to 60. On the other hand, perhaps incarceration is not called for. It just depends.
