Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Mexico
I am a graduate student who is currently attending a large University in New York City. A few nights before the end of the semester (Last Friday), I attempted to load my luggage (a few suitcases packed with clothing) on to the University's shuttle bus before being yelled at and assaulted (choked) by the bus driver. The relatively new bus driver refused to allow me to load my luggage on to the bus, which led to minor altercation when he proceed to physically assault me. A report was filed with the University, a report was filed with the NYPD, and I was transported to the hospital and subsequently diagnosed with a neck injury. The University has taken the necessary measures and contacted the bus company to make certain that the individual was terminated. Seeking Legal Advice.
