Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Mexico

Hi:

Recently I been to a night club. There I asked a girl if she was interested in dancing with me. She said she needed to pee first. So, I waited her outside the restroom. I'd also like to mention that there was nothing written at the restroom door, I mean, whether it was for men or for women. So, when few guys tried to go in the restroom, I informed them that there was my friend (that girl) inside. It was okay until then. When she came out of the restroom, I asked her again if she was interested in dancing with me. She insulted me saying she didn't want to dance with a sick guy. I felt really hurt, but I let it go. So, when I went back to the dancing floor, she came there with her boyfriend, and tried to bully me, and even she pushed me. I tried to convince here boyfriend that I just proposed to dance with her, and she refused. So, I backed off. However, the girl didn't stop at this and started over-reacting. When I went out of the club to smoke cigarette, her friend came to me and said, you (means I) need to leave now, and even the club security guy came to me and I tried explaining to him the situation but he won't understand. On the other hand, the girl didn't stop over-reacting and even she tried to create a situation by starting crying. Oh Good! I didn't know what to do. My only purpose of going to the club was to make new friends and get out of my depression. I never and do not wish to hurt anybody. I'm a law-abiding guy. But, now I am scarred if the girl can harm me in any way (either harassing me physically or legally). Would you please let me know what are my options? I don't want to be involved in any legal matter. I don't have money for all these types of entertainments. Would you please help me out?

1, Find another nightclub to go to for a while;

2. She can't do anything if she does not know where you are;

3. If she harasses you, make a police report.

4. If you gave her your address and/or phone number, then it's your bad. Don't do that with strangers.

5. You have no legal options if you don't want to be involved with the law, so avoid her. If she shows up somewhere where you are, leave.
