Ordinary citizens, just like you. Usually 12, sometimes 6, adult members of the community [over 18], often chosen from voter rolls, drivers' licenses, or property tax lists. Must be able to see, hear and comprehend the English language in most, but not all, states. In NM, for example, those who speak only Spanish must be accommodated for jury duty.
