Re: juvenile crimes
In NM parents are legally responsible for the intentional acts of their children to a cap of $4,000.00. The standard for a child's behavior which holds a parent liable is quite high. If the car was wrecked because of negligence, the parent may not be responsible, either parent. If you are presented with a claim you should consult a lawyer with all the facts and get solid legal advice.
