Pedophilia

I was molested by my father early in my childhood. I am 34, and until recently, I had suppressed the occurances. Sexual advances, and addmission of said events have recently transpired, bringing forth my recolection and personal anguish. What are the statute of limitations on filing

charges for childhood sexual abuse by a parent? Is there anything I can do?

Re: Pedophilia

In some instances one may have a reasonable time following discovery of a childhood wrong within which to bring legal action in New Mexico. You need to obtain a professional analysis of the timeline of your situation. Most personal injury lawyers will extend a 30 minute case evaluation at no cost. Do not delay, however, if you intend to pursue this, as time is against you at this point.
