Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Mexico
If someone said something to another person regarding someones girlfriend and the boyfriend assaults the person who said it what can be done legally?

The "boyfriend" needs a criminal defense lawyer. Gossip is not a legal defense for an assault/battery if the "someone" files criminal charges with law enforcement.
