Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Mexico
Sentencing Length
If a person is sentenced for a specific amount of time, and the jail releases them earlier can they be re-jailed for the remainder of their sentence? The judge specificially stated the time of the sentence was to be straight time.

Re: Sentencing Length
When someone is discharged early from a straight time sentence due to an administrative error, they may be required by the court to return and serve the balance of their sentence.
