Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Mexico

I'm stressing out,so someone please help me. I left AZ a year ago to start over in a new state with my family and daughters. In my current state, I had a felony warrant as soon as i arrived here, I immediately turned myself in. I completed every court date after that and the charges were eventually dropped. Now,a year later,that same charge was brought back up on me from AZ. Its from Oct 2014. I now have an $8000 felony warrant out on me for car theft. I should tell u that my dad was the victim and has desperately tried to withdraw the charges,but hasn't had any luck. Now that I'm living clean and trying to be the mom I once was,this news is really scaring me! However, I don't want this hanging over my head and I want to fix this. My father and I have called every court office possible and they said I must go back to AZ to turn myself in. So,this is where my questions now come in..Is there anyway that I can take care of this warrant living out of state? And,will I be allowed to fly with a felony warrant?

Your best advice is to contact a criminal defense attorney in the city where the warrant is pending. If the warrant has been issued in error, s/he may be able to have it dismissed without your appearance. Whatever, s/he may be able to handle the matter without you. The court personnel won't tell you that. Call an attorney you know, one recommended by a friend, or find one on the AZ Bar Association website.
