Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Mexico
A subpoena for me was dropped off at my home while I was not home. The officer just gave it to my husband without asking who he was. I thought subpoenas had to be served directly to said person?

In NM a civil subpoena may be left with a person 18 years or older who is a resident of the recipients usual place of residence.
