Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Mexico
I have a trial for shoplifting $250<. The officer copied down my name wrong and submitted it to the court. The court now has a wrong middle initial for the case against me. Am I able to do something about the wrong name since that is not my name or what a I able to do?

The easy way is to inform the judge the next time you are in court. Prior to that, write the judge a letter and explain the mistake.
