Legal Question in Elder Law in New Mexico
Can a single individual with a power of attorney leave the country on vacation when theyir mother is in a nursing home? My aunt refuses to grant my mom poa when we are the ones living in state and my aunt is in another preparing to travel abroad.

Only the person involved can give a POA to another. If incompetent, it can't be done.
