Legal Question in Family Law in New Mexico

I have 2 children from a previous relationship, their father lives in WY, which is where the visitation hearing took place. My kids and I moved to NM 3 years ago. In WY, kids have no say in the visitation until they turn 18, in NM, they can tell the court what they would like as far as living and visitation arrangments when they are 13. Is there any way my 14 year old can bring some sort of action here in NM, so that she can have some say in the summer visitation with her father?

The WY court has continuing jurisdiction and only that court can make a change. A NM court can take jurisdiction if it determines that neither the child nor any of the child's parents now live in WY. Otherwise you have to petition the WY court to move jurisidiction to NM. If you want to pursue this get a lawyer. If you want to pursue this get a lawyer. If you want to pursue this get a lawyer. Did I mention that if you want to pursue this you should get a lawyer?
