Legal Question in Family Law in New Mexico

My 17 year old son got kicked out of the house by his mother, and he is presently living with his grandparents. He is requesting to come and live with me his biological father.

Can I bring him in without any legal repercussion since he was kicked out of his mother's home?

Yes, provided there are no court documents specifying where/how he will live, or that his mother is willing to relinquish her custodial rights if there are. A 17 year-old can live pretty much anywhere he wants, but if there are court documents dealing with the topic they should be changed so no one can accuse anyone of violating a court order.
