Legal Question in Family Law in New Mexico
If a 17 year old in the state of new mexico chooses to move out, can she be forced to come home and can the parents press charges on the persons she is staying with if she refuses?

In principle you can order her to come home, in practice it's not so easy. You can try to get Children Youth and Families Dept to take some actions but frankly dealing with them may be worse than leaving her there. There is a misdemeanor called interference with custody that can be used against the person giving her shelter.
