Legal Question in Family Law in New Mexico

My attorney is withdrawing from my case. There are no current hearings set. I have received paperwork of the motion to withdraw. What do I need to do next?

I live in Colorado and my attorney (as well as the most recent court case) are located in New Mexico.

The attorney may be withdrawing because you have either completed the task for which he or she was hired or you and the attorney are having some type of communication issue. You did not state the underlying reason why the attorney is withdrawing. If you do not know then perhaps a phone call to the attorney will clarify the matter for you. At that time you will then find out whether to sign the documents or not.

Good Luck.
