birth certificate issues

i do not want to put my childs father on the birth certificate. we are legally married but seperated trying to finalize our divorce. what are my options?

There is no law that will support what you are seeking to do. Establishing paternity and tracking family history by birth certificates is one of the oldest and most basic ways that people keep track of not only their heritage but their medical history and inheritance from one generation to the next.

The birth certificate is for your child ~ not for you.
