burial rights
Does the mother of a diseased adult have legal right over the diseased's adult children, in regards to funeral arrangements? The diseased did not have a will.

Re: burial rights
No, the children as direct and immediate descendants of the deceased should have superior rights to those of the parents in deciding such matters.(One of these should apply to the local
probate court to be appointed as the administrator
for the estate of the deceased who apparently died intestate.)
