Legal Question in Family Law in New Mexico
Child Custody
Is it possible for me to file papers in court to have custody of my children returned to me without having to have an attorney? Where would I obtain such forms to perform this task?

Florida Law: Anyone can proceed pro se (without an attorney) with their case. However, in a situation such as yours I would strongly recommend that you retain an attorney. This is a case that could be a full fledged battle and you will need to be prepared with the law in hand. If you decide to proceed pro se I suggest that you go to your local courthouse and ask if there is a self help division in the courthouse. Good Luck!
