child support better prepaired

I have a 4 month old daughter and have applied for child support through the state of NM. I was never married to her father and he has not claimed legal paternity. Based on previous conversations he will do anything to not pay the child support though the process has just started. My income is about half his--I make more and he supports another child legally. What should I know to be better

prepaired for all of this?

You can call the agency's 800-288-7207 number and request an appointment with the Child Support Legal Assistant who is assigned to your case. The legal assistant will call you back and schedule an appointment with you. They will answer your questions with as much detail as you need.
