Re: child support

You are entitled to the amount and duration of child support as it is set forth in the latest (or last) court order in your case. Thus, if your order says somthing like, "child support shall continue until the emancipation of the child named herein or, if the child is 18 and still attending high school, then, until age 19 or graduation, whichever occurs first" you would continue getting child support until your son graduates. If your order does not say that or something like that then you should seriously consider spending the time and the money speaking with legal counsel. . . . sooner rather than later. You would need to file a motion BEFORE he turns 18.

Good Luck
