If you will look on the top left hand corner of any of the legal papers concerning your divorce you will see the caption of the county, judicial district and the state (N.M., I assume) and the DM number. You can call the CLERK of the District Court in the town where your divorce was taking place and tell to the clerk what you have written in your note, i.e., you want a copy of your final decree of divorce. You will have to give them the information (DM number) and the parties' names (that is, your name and your ex spouse name) and the clerk will look it up and then tell you how much it will cost to send you a copy. (The court houses charge anywhere from 35 cents to 50 cents a page for copies and then an additional fee if you want a certified copy). You will then send a money order (be sure to ask for the mailing address) and put in with the money order a note explaining that you spoke to so and so on a particular day and you were told to send XXX amount of dollars for a copy of your divorce decree under the caption of (name of parties) and case number (DM number).
