Divorce residing outside NY
Mywife and I want to get divorced.
No kids, no property and the divorce will be uncontested. The problem is we both reside outside NY (in Thailand and New Zealand!)
How can we get divorced in NY, or obtain legal divorce ?

First of all, you pressed the NM button when you should have pressed the NY button. I am a NM attorney and not licensed in NY. Be that as it may, since you have access to the internet you can search the database at law guru for a NY atty and, I guess (but do not know) that you will be able to do the entire thing through the attorney and without actually appearing in court. In NM that is possible. For NY, you'll have to ask a NY attorney.
