Can a divorce of 6 years be reversed if one party was found to be incapable of making the decision to divorce after a brain injury.

It's a possibility. There would be many factual questions both the court and the opposite side would want to know before anyone ruled on the issue. A significant question being, does the mental condition continue to exist? If the answer is no and that person has not sought a remarriage (or some other similar arrangement) then perhaps their actions speak more to the issue than the general 'generic' question.
