Legal Question in Family Law in New Mexico

My ex-wife has been leaving my children home alone from after school-3pm until as late as 10pm. I have filed for change of circumstance listing that along with numerous other issue as my reason for best interest of the children. About six months ago my new wife reported her to child services for doing this because she refused to stop. Child services will not give me any info as to what if anything they did with out a subpena. I was going to subpena the records but my new wife is worried that they will be a negative because she was the one who called. So I am looking to see what a lawyer thinks. Thanks!!

She worries without cause. It does not matter who called if there was a legitimate concern about the welfare of children.
