Legal Question in Family Law in New Mexico

Can I file an appeal to a child support order? The lawyer for the state told me I had to sign the order or they were going to up the amount of back child support.

You can appeal any order which is final and disposes of the case. In district court civil litigation the time within which an appeal must be filed is 30 days from the entry of the judgment or final order.
