Can my girlfriend/ex move out of state with my son?

The answer is both yes and no. If you agree that she can move out of state then she can do it. If you do not agree and she still wants to move out of state with your child you will need to file a petition to determine paternity and establish a parenting plan. Go to the pro se clinic at the 2nd judicial district court (if that is your closest district court) and they should have forms to help you get started with the petition.
