I have inserted a link to the NM Bar Association's page on the Lawyer Referral Program for the Elderly. If the link is stripped in this answer (or does not work) then you can copy it and insert it in your search engine or do a google search for everything in the following quotes "NM Bar Association Lawyer Referral Program for the Elderly" and that should get you to the same page. You will find some information on that page that 'may' get you the assistance you asked about. Because this is a civil law issue you ask about there may not be a lot out there to give you the assistance you seek.
There is a law in NM that allows for grandparent visitation with minor children. The law provides an avenue for you to address this issue in the court. It does not guarantee you visitation with your grandchildren but it does provide a way for you to bring this matter to court and lets a judge make a decision on the issue. Once you are in court a judge may recommend that you and your child try alternative dispute resolution before issuing a ruling on the matter or the judge may simply hear both sides of the argument and then make a ruling.
Good Luck.
