Legal Question in Family Law in New Mexico

My husband just field for divorce after one 1 yr of marriage. We been fighting over stuff that dont even matter and it just escalated into this. Some days were so good and others not so much. He has a lawyer and tells me I can stop this if I want and then other days says he isn't stopping it, I am very confused. I have no clue what to do. We live in Nm and he says no matter what the law I wont be able to take anything. He is the primary care provider and I only work part time. I am originally from Michigan so I will have to move back their. In order to move here I had to hire a lawyer to get my oldest (6) to move here, since her father didnt want her to but I won my case. I can't afford another lawyer. Whats my rights and any suggestions?

You should go over and talk to Matt Rowland at the NM Legal Aid office in Clovis. Tell him the law guru sent you and I suspect he might be able to give you a good amount of assistance with the question you asked.
