who's income determines child support

My 15 year old son lives with my mother in New Mexico. I signed a temp. guardianship. I have been married for 10 years to a man who is not my son's father. If my mother seeks child support, is my husband responsible for the payments as well? Will the court consider his income when setting the child support even though he never adopted my son?
