You did not say whether you had signed a consent form that would allow him to publish the photographs. If you did then you may want to consider seeking legal counsel before you take other legal steps. However, if you did not consent to the publication of the photographs then you should consider filing a police report and having criminal charges brought against him, if any can be so brought. It seems to me that several crimes come to mind as I think about someone making threats against someone else.

Since this is a family law forum I would suggest you go to the county courthouse and see if you can obtain a domestic violence restraining order against him and have this matter viewed as domestic violence in nature. I have not ever considered that such an act (publishing) could be considered domestic violence but I tend to believe that threatening someone which whom the person had an intimate relationship does fall within the bounds of domestic violence. However, since you have not provided any other facts about your issue there could be something you have withheld that would make me change my mind. In the end, it is the hearing officer that will determine whether you have a domestic violence claim sufficient for the court to issue a restraining order.

If you are in doubt about bringing legal action then go and consult with legal counsel. You will need to disclose much more facts than you have disclosed here - which are, none other than your statement that he is doing one thing and threatening another.

Good Luck.
