You have not supplied a sufficient amount of information to get a complete answer. First, have you had legal action with the child's father? Second, Is there a case in the courts? Next, do you have a court order about visitation between the father and the child? The answers to these questions will determine the direction that the lawyer can answer your overall question - can you move? Right now - without that information - the answer could be yes or it could be no.

I believe my contact information will appear with this answer. You can look me up in the 'red book' online. You may contact me or you may go to the local "self help" center at your local courthouse. You did not say what county or zip code you are in thus I cannot tell you which court house to go to seeking help for the "pro se litigant." However, if you go to your local district court house there is a very good chance that they have a self help center or they can direct you to one.

Good Luck.
