I have a Court Minute Order from a custody case. It states that I have Sole Legal and Physical Custody of my daughter. But what does a Minute Order in this case mean?

Re: Minute Order
A minute order is a court order usually hand written by the judge. The judges in 2nd judicial district court (in Albuquerque) use them frequently when they have made an immediate decision and it is a short decision without a lot of 'fanfare' so to speak. In this case, and as you stated, it means that you have sole legal and physical custody of your daughter. Legal custody means that you, and you alone, make legal decisions for your child. Physical custody means that you, and you alone, make the decisions about where and with whom your child resides.
