How can I petition for adult guardianship for mother with advanced dementia?

New Mexico Statutes Chapter 45 article 5 section 303 gives the basic procedures. Nearby sections can help you.

What you really want to do is call the guardian angels foundation: 5059202871, or www.guardianangelsfoundation.org. They can help you get started. There is also an office of guardianship that I believe is in the Children Youth and Families Department of the State Government, and they may be able to help you.
