Legal Question in Family Law in New Mexico

My sister died back in 2004 and since then it has gotten harder and harder to get her husband to allow my parents to see her son. My question is how likely is it that they would be able to get court ordered visitation for a grandchild under these circumstances in the state of New Mexico?

A specific answer is not possible without further information, but generally, grandparents visitation rights are respected in NM and enforced by the courts if there is no reason not to grant them or if the child's best interests would not be furthered by visitation.
