compensation for witness

I was involved in an accident which was not my fault. I took the person to court and was told by the judge that I should subpoena my witnesses. Question: At what rate do I compensate that witness? She was almost hostile to my case.

Subpoena'd witnesses in NM get $75/day + mileage @ $.32 by law whether hostile or otherwise.
