Legal Question in Employment Law in New Mexico
if a fellow worker told a lie about another employee, and that resulted in a suspension and almost got fired. Would the employee that perjured themselves, are they liable for any wronfg doing?

People who speak words which cause economic harm to others are liable for damages for slander. Such lawsuits are seldom successful.
